ASTM B348 Titanium Bar Standard Explained

ASTM B348 is the workhorse standard for titanium bar and billet used in machining, fasteners and forging stock.

Scope

It covers round, square, hexagonal and rectangular bar plus billet, in commercially pure and alloy grades, normally supplied annealed.

• Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI)
• Grade 7, 11, 12 — corrosion grades
