Titanium is about 45% lighter than steel at comparable strength, cutting weight without sacrificing structural integrity.

High-Temperature Capability

Many titanium alloys keep useful strength above 500°C, suiting engine components, exhaust and bleed-air systems where aluminium would fail.

Fatigue & Corrosion

  • Excellent fatigue life for cyclically loaded parts
  • Immune to salt-spray and most service fluids
  • Galvanically compatible with carbon-fibre composites (unlike aluminium)
